Petersfield, in the heart of rural Hampshire, a traditional market town, is perfectly situated to host a local food festival - and this was demonstrated by over 10,000 happy visitors. Restaurant Trail - May 24th - June 7th Many restaurants signed up to join our Restaurant Trail, when they featured special local seasonal offers. This included Annie Jones, Django's Bistro, The Five Bells, Buriton, Folly Upstairs, The George, George Inn East Meon, Henderson's Railway Cafe, JSW, The Lounge, La Piazzetta and The Square Brewery. Saturday May 31st Live music on The Square featured Aitch, David James Wheat, Chris Ricketts and Amalthea and was accompanied by food from our street kitchen. Sunday June 1st 100 stalls selling local produce. Live demonstrations on stage from Jake Watkins of Michelin starred restaurant JSW, staff from Annie Jones, Jennifer Laing of Cresson Creative, La Piazzetta, Henderson's Railway Cafe and Hampshire School Meals service HC3S.
